Drawing inspiration from both classic Korean folk music and modern K-pop, nine-strong ensemble ADG7 (aka Ak Dan Gwang Chil) are one of the most unique and compelling live acts around. Featuring three super-stylish frontwomen backed by a band playing traditional Korean instrumentation, the collective has been a huge hit at music festivals around the world, including WOMAD, Roskilde, Glastonbury, Sziget and the Montreal Jazz Festival. Described as “catchy, bouncy and brash” by The New York Times, they’re sure to win legions of new fans when they take the stage at Clockenflap on Saturday December 2.

從昔日朝鮮海西一帶嘅民族音樂中獲取靈感，另類音樂組合 ADG7（全寫 Ak Dan Gwang Chil）由三位女歌手，加上六位精通傳統韓國樂器嘅樂手組成。有別於大部分復興傳統曲目嘅團體，ADG7 係以全新創作嘅方式去詮釋自己國家嘅音樂起源 —— 透過參加 Live on KEXP、NPR Tiny Desk Concert，以至喺 Glastonbury、Roskilde 等世界性音樂節演出，佢哋令各地樂迷見識到一種具有遠古信仰嘅儀式感，但又乎合現代流行曲式嘅奇異東方聲樂，令外媒如《紐約時報》等等均以「薩滿朋克」去形容 ADG7 嘅獨特風格。雖然佢哋都有出歌出碟，但老老竇竇一定係聽live更有味道更有驚喜，嚟12月 Clockenflap 試一試！
