With their cinematic production and breathy vocals, Seattle-based duo Andi Wang and Kat Zhang, aka Bubble Tea and Cigarettes, are known for creating dreamy soundscapes that are nostalgic, bittersweet and incredibly atmospheric. Following on from their acclaimed 2022 debut ‘There’s Nothing But Pleasure’, the pair released their hugely anticipated second album ‘We Should’ve Killed Each Other’ at the start of November, and Clockenflappers will be among the first to see them perform their new material live.

半夜落街食炸雞，收工屈埋喺梳化睇套法國戲、你換咗隻香水我多咗個紋身 —— 呢啲無數人都經歷過嘅濕星時刻，卻因為曾經有另一個人參與而無法取代。以珍奶香煙為名，由女主唱 Kat 與結他手 Andi 組成嘅 Bubble Tea and Cigarettes 冇咩宏大思想要同你我他分享，但透過一首又一首 dream pop 曲目記錄情人點滴，卻能夠唔覺意一針打入情緒血管，勾起人不能忘記，又或者唔再諗起嘅戀愛印象。

自2020年發表首支單曲〈5AM Empanada with You〉後，呢隊西雅圖雙人組旋即喺獨立樂迷圈內爆紅，翌年獲西班牙老牌 indie pop 大廠 Elefant Records (Camera Obscura、BMX Bandits、My Little Airport、The Primitives) 簽約旗下，2022年發表首張大碟《There’s Nothing But Pleasure》後開始累積唔少海外fans，過去兩年多次出國巡演。Bubble Tea and Cigarettes 啱啱推出新碟《we should’ve killed each other》，收錄〈Room 907〉、〈French Movie〉等甜得嚟頹頹地（抑或頹得嚟甜甜地？）嘅浪漫新曲，月底就會喺 Clockenflap 2024 現場玩畀大家聽！
