One of the most acclaimed bands to come out of Hong Kong in recent years, Lucid Express are known for their shoegaze-drenched indie-pop sound, which NME described as all “shimmering guitars and whirring synthesizers.” Since releasing their self-titled debut on the US label Kanine Records in 2021, the five-piece have garnered a sizeable fanbase at home and abroad, following it up with the impressive sophomore effort ‘Floret’ in 2022, as well as tours of the US, UK and Europe. This stage closing performance at Clockenflap promises to be their biggest local outing yet, so don’t miss out!

回到2014年，我哋邀請咗當時只係出咗一首單曲〈Lime〉嘅 THUD 參演 Clockenflap，只因為當中由合成器主導嘅 shoegaze 音色實在太美好，聽一首已經變fans。經過〈Prime of Pride〉 及〈Ado〉等單曲嘅演化後，佢哋喺2021年正式易名為 Lucid Express，與美國獨立名廠 Kanine Records 簽約，同年推出成團以來首張同名專輯，音牆美學愈發甜美狂暴，融入 synthwave 元素之餘依然維持招牌嘅明亮特質。佢哋唔只受本地 dream pop 樂迷追捧，連 NME、Drowned in Sound、The Quietus 等媒體都盛讚，其中〈Hotel 65〉、〈Wellwave〉等歌亦成功吸納不少海外樂迷，巡演到歐美，更受邀參加德州指標性迷幻音樂節 Levitation。

除咗同名大碟外，Lucid Express 嘅EP《Floret》係將前作重新發行，除咗收錄原曲外亦加上 For Tracy Hyde 、 The Bilinda Butchers 及 Yuck 等成員嘅混音版本，依家再聽〈Lime〉同〈Venture〉依然係啱聽到不得了，今次時隔十年再度回歸，我哋都急不及待快啲喺 Clockenflap 2024 舞台上見到佢哋！
