Inspired by the likes of Whirr and Deftones, Natalie R. Lu, aka Wisp, is flying the flag for a whole new generation of shoegaze artists. Originally from San Francisco, the 20-year-old singer-songwriter burst onto the scene in early 2023 with her impressive debut single ‘Your Face’, which has gone on to rack up more than 80 million streams on Spotify. Four more singles followed, including ‘Enough for You’ and ‘See You Soon’, before the release of her first EP, ‘Pandora’, earlier this year underlined her arrival as a major new talent.

剛剛滿20歲，原先喺三藩市修讀計算機科學嘅 Natalie 靠課餘時間自學結他整下歌，去年因為發表〈Your Face〉而名副其實地一夕爆紅，漏夜喺TikTok上創出十萬觀看次數，再喺Spotify爆出八千幾萬點播，曾簽下 Billie Eilish 同 Olivia Rodrigo 等當紅唱作女歌手嘅 Interscope 亦快手將 Wisp 收歸旗下。今年 Wisp 推出首張個人EP專輯《Pandora》，繼續建立佢以氣聲吟唱引導，盡情以有如 Deftone 或 Nothing 式多重結他音牆築起甜蜜噪音美學。
